On October 3, 2026, The District became the Pickledome. Melanoma Canada's Smash Out Skin Cancer brought a pickleball tournament and a courtside fashion show together under one roof, with Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Beker joining the club for a day of play with a purpose.
Across the divisions, players competed for gold — and for a cause that matters. Between matches, a runway ran courtside, blending sport and style in a way that is fast becoming a District signature. Every entry, every swing and every donation helped fund Melanoma Canada's work in prevention, education and patient support.

Support Melanoma CanadaOn a Tuesday night in Mississauga, Toronto FC swapped cleats for padel shoes — and reminded everyone why The District has become the GTA's home for racquet sports.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Toronto FC traded the pitch for the glass court, bringing plenty of energy, friendly competition and good vibes to The District Padel & Pickleball Club. For a squad used to the roar of BMO Field, the fast exchanges and tight angles of padel proved the perfect off-day challenge — and a reminder that the fundamentals of great sport travel across disciplines.
The visit captured exactly what The District was built for: a premium environment where elite athletes, members and the wider GTA community can connect through the fastest-growing racquet sports in the country. Rallies ran long, the banter ran longer, and by the end of the night the club had a new keepsake — a signed Toronto FC "26" jersey to mark the occasion. It is the kind of crossover moment that keeps putting Mississauga's padel scene on the map.
"Thanks for joining us, Toronto FC," the club posted afterward. "Ready for the rematch?"
Two new partnerships extend The District's network across the GTA — one bringing bespoke style to the court, the other backing the club's biggest tournament of the season.

The club has officially announced a sponsorship agreement with Atelier Munro, bringing together two brands with a shared commitment to community, meaningful connections and memorable experiences. Representing The District, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Daniela Varas joined Vincenzo Fazzari, Business Development Leader, and Gaurav Suneja, Head of Retail at Atelier Munro, to formalize and sign the agreement. By bringing together the worlds of padel and style, the partnership opens new spaces for people across the GTA to connect, build relationships and share experiences.

The District is also proud to welcome Sky Luxe Roofing & Sheet Metal as an official sponsor — and presenting partner of the PAC500 — marking the beginning of a collaboration rooted in shared values of excellence, growth and community.
